Cleaning FAQs

How many Cleaning Professionals will come to my service location?

We typically send one cleaning crew, which consists of two – four people, depending on the size of the job. We do our best to assign the same team to your house every time.

How does the Cleaning Crew get into my home/office?

Most of our clients provide us with a key to their home/office.  The key is coded and your personal information is not on the key. Your Cleaning Crew will be given your key the morning of your clean and it will be returned to our safe when the Cleaning Crews returns to the office at the end of the day. Some clients prefer to provide us with a utilized lock box. Please Note: If your cleaning crew is unable to gain entry to your home/office to clean, a lockout fee in the amount of 1/2 your total invoice amount will be charged! 

What about Animals?

We ask that all animals be away from the area of your home/office that is being cleaned. Please inform our office of all animals on the property, not only do we like to perform an excellent job, we also want to keep all our crew members safe. We are however a pet friendly company!

Do I have to be present when the Cleaning Crew comes to clean?

No. In fact, most customers are not present when we clean. Real World Services Company Crew Members are bonded & insured and will use the utmost care while cleaning your home/office and on your property.

How do I pay for my cleaning service?

Our office will send a bill with the supplied address listed on your account, or Payment can be due the day of your cleaning. If we do not receive payment either by the billing terms or the day of the cleaning, we charge a $20 service fee for all late payments. There is a $15 return check service fee charge on all returned checks! 

How can I give my Cleaning Crew new instructions?

It's easy!  When you have new or extra instructions you can call the office and we will be sure to get the instructions to your Cleaning Crew.  If it's instructions you want followed every visit, please inform office staff member that so information can be added to your file. Please Note: If you would like additional services added to your cleaning, additional fees/charges may apply, ask the Real World Services Staff member if there is an additional charge for the service you wish to be preformed.

What if I need to change my scheduled cleaning day?

We really appreciate as much notice as possible when you need to reschedule. We hold your spot for you and often turn down other business to do so. If we have enough notice, we can usually fill your spot and keep your Cleaning Crew working.  We will charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 1/2 your total invoice service amount if we do not receive at least a 24 hour cancellation notice!  

What if I forgot my Cleaning Professionals were coming?

If you provide a key to your building/office, this shouldn't be a problem.  But if you do not provide a key or other method of entry and your Cleaning Crew arrives and are unable to access your home/office, you will be charged a lockout fee of 1/2 the total service amount of your invoice if we are unable to gain entry to your property.

What if my Cleaning Professionals break an item in my home/office?

Your Cleaning Crew is careful with your possessions, but we do know that accidents can happen. Real World Services Company is fully bonded & insured. If any damage/loss does occur, please notify our office immediately.   

How can I be sure I will receive quality service?
